I didn't realize my post (>>280095248) would continue this far so I just ignored replies but reading this I want to now. I didn't say the show is realistic, in fact I agree with you that it's depiction of bullying is unrealistic (not in content but in presentation, it's a great way to tell the story of bullying visually) but when I say realistic, I meant the emotions and turmoil Takopi faces when he tries to help. In trying to help he really only makes the situation worse, or at least feels that he's making the situation worse. It's a very hard hitting and emotional beat that anyone whose experienced abuse can relate to. Learning for the first time that abuse and bullying isn't just something you can slap a bandaid on or tell a teacher about.
