It was an XBox franchise till the PS4. Haven't seen the sales but it seems to be on the downswing. It was declining when Activision was independent but the double whammy of the market declining overall and the merger taking forever kind of killed it. I also suspect it may have something to do with millennials getting older and zoomers preferring Fortnite over COD. Might explain all the goofy skins we see in COD now.
