Sometimes I wonder, are my issues with the Sonic franchise as it currently exists legitimate, or am I just old and out of touch since I've been involved with Sonic since 1992?

I like to think I can clearly lay out why I feel it's in such a bad state right now, things I feel that are objectively bad quality compared to what existed before, but there's always going to be people who enjoy what annoys me, and at this point I've completely lost hope anything will ever improve, just like Mega Man.
