I am a poser so I was following things EpicNameBro did, and being a cartwheeling DEX build with the great scythe was honestly boner inducing, so it was my go-to fun build of DS1. Fuck it makes me wanna do it again.

Only time I didn't do it was when I did NG+ SL1, as really reinforced club was the only way to get through that shit.
