hes got a lot of good grasp on anatomy and rendering but also has this really unique, sorta surreal and grungy sort of aesthetic, its hard to describe, i could describe it as sorta in the middle between ren and stimpy, invader zim, and dr seuss, but really its best to just let it speak for itself

hes got a lot of cool original characters and just in general a really unique vibe and sense of humor to their stuff, and i think they would kill it if he led an indie animated series, but he has this strange sort of self-alienating idea of themselves as someone who doesn't need material stability or to ride any trends or algorithms for their art to succeed, like he needs to prove his artistic skill and ideas are just that good that he doesn't need no got damn algorithm
he doesn't wanna touch doing anything fandom-related out of some strange idea that it'll ruin the value of his stuff and it'll just become unremarkable and identical to everything else, which is obviously not gonna be the case with how unique his style is, but he can't see that, he thinks he'll only ever enjoy doing his personal little OC's and any success he gets from playing the game like a normal artist will be worthless even if it gives him the chance to do some dream project in the future, nahh he'd rather starve himself working on some giant master project for 20 years like richard williams


the worst part is his only plan for a career is to either get into some studio job like laika or whatever, and if that fails, he intends to just give up on art altogether and get a normie job
really he has this whole mindset of "all or nothing" auteur-brain main character syndrome that really aggravates me as someone whos kinda been there themselves and never had it pan out
