The game stopped being made for me a long time ago.
I logged back in couple of years ago and I was completely lost, because I had played a lot in the past, the game assumed I knew everything despite the game having gone through massive overhauls.

I didn't know where to go or what I should've even been doing, so I jumped to a random planet.
The random NPC's in the city were selling items I've never seen with currencies I've never seen, and the purpose of these items was explained nowhere. The NPC's talked to me as if they knew me or that I'd been there before. To exit the city I had to run along the city wall like in a labyrinth as there were no doors that looked like the exit, and even the door that did let me out of the city was small and indistinct, like some random fucking backdoor and not the "city gates" or something.

Outside the city it was large, vast, empty planes of nothing but snow and ice. I started running in a random direction and in 5 minutes or so, I came across a pack of alien dogs. I killed them with my Acrid and Orthos Prime which used to be the best weapons by the time I was playing. The dogs died immediately, I don't remember getting anything from these kills. I wandered around a bit, not seeing any more enemies and then quit for good.

It'd probably make more sense if I started fresh and the game familiarized me with its new systems, but having all of the hours I put into the game go to waste, no thank you. And the mystique about the frames got butchered with you just being some fucking human pilot. Completely lost any and all interest.
