I missed the monolith with my odyssey run, does that mean I am locked out of anomaly content?

Additionally, with the outfit stands, if I put a vacsuit set, swap with my pawns clothing, and then swap back, why does he keep the vacsuit helmet? Is there anyway to tell them to put helmet back even though their original outfit has no hats ?
