Its a testament to cold war propaganda that you're still blaming the soviet union for your ills when clearly the transition from left-wing collectivist ideologies to "left-wing" hyper individualism (identity politics) originated and festered in the west ...... at the expense of orthodox left wing ideas like you would find in the USSR.
