you trying too hard, but this thread is interesting. if literacy wasnt taught, it would be the best way of seperating the wheat from chaff. literacy rates are high, but not functional literacy. most people do not know or cant interpret what they are reading right, that means for the normies reading is a matter of reading signs, or titles of a youtube videos or tv news channels. that happens because they essentially do not read enough and do not have the curious will to do so. if literacy wasnt taught that would be about who truly has the curiosity which leads to less mundane persuits, to those who do not.
