>The villains of this game are not very smart
anon it's just a funny moment that happened, it's not that deep. he stuttered when he was talking so it sounded like he was saying goblin instead of what he actually meant.
The Poachers are stupid, and the Captain is a bit bumbling but seems well-intentioned, but the Knight Commander at the least is a competent antagonist given that he was the one who taught the Prince everything he knows about military strategy and tactics in the first place, which happened well before he disappeared. Given what happens later this seems more like a powerplay between the King and Queen that the guy just got caught in the middle of. His Mom hasn't shown up at all, but she's the true overarching villain as the one who set everything into motion. She's probably the one who tried to get him assassinated in the first place.
I would've expected them to follow up on this at some point, but curing space-aids is pretty important too I guess.
>MC is the only one who looks to have a working a brain.
There are more than just a few Monster Girls on the island who are sane and/or competent anon, even if the MC is the sanest person around. But the MC also has some level of actual brain damage from his near-death experience that leaves him unable to remember or pronounce Vivi's name (at one point he called her "Almaviva"), so take that as you will. His brain trauma mostly just seems to be amnesia related, though.

Maybe punching would fix her face? It looks like one of her eyes is hanging in mid-air here.
