Eventually a superior Bob Welch (redundant, I know) era Fleetwood Mac will supplant Rumours as No 1. Probably Mystery to Me, but then again, any one of them could do it. In fact, they’re all so good they probably have the effect of “cannibalizing” each other so to speak in terms of listeners. Whereas Rumours is the only halfway decent album Fleetwood Mac made with Lindsey Cuckingham and Stevie “I Fuck” Nigs.
