People have said it was dead at every number of users, so I'm not sure what that means anymore. But what it means when the number of active users remains fixed isn't that nobody's signing up. Rather it means that people are joining at *the same rate* as they're leaving (or being marked inactive). A few hundred people sign up per day, and I think the vast majority come from /soc/
The fact a big proportion of sign-ups come from a single /soc/ thread is evidence that the number of active users can almost be doubled by shilling duolicious on just one other imageboard/forum/etc. I don't know of any 4chan-adjacent boards to do that on though. Maybe other anons do. Please don't send 100k people in a few days again. That was stressful

The match percentage can't go up to 100% because the number is meant to account for uncertainty. And also the algorithm doesn't know it's comparing a person to themselves - It just sees the questions/answers and pumps out a number accordingly
