It's weird because sometimes I've got the timing all lined up, and then the car just freezes mid-drift and hurls itself into a wall, and I'm someone who can pull off consistent silent drifts in the original pretty easily.

Other than that, I heard some cars are MT only so I've been trying to train myself on that. Got good enough at least to mitigate some speed loss on uphill sections.
