Speaking technologically, can someone explain the appeal of music like this to me?

I was looking through the gazette yesterday, and spotted picrel. It is $5K POS, so I was intrigued by what anons do be listening on such setups. Found, gave it a try and it's nothing? Like, there's nothing to the music, it's "my second time in the Fruity Loops" type of track with some pretty unpleasant (but I'm sensitive to high frequencies) vocals over it. I'm not bashing, I'm just trying to understand. Can someone point me at 1) why is this interesting 2) more examples of good music of this sort (and what it's called aside from weebshit) 3) examples of bad tracks in the same vein
