He’s still doing the Nostalgia Critic to this day, although it’s not as elaborate as it used to be. Between Tamara leaving (on good terms, was just time for her to move on), their studio being a piece of shit, and Doug being old and having health issues they can’t do anything elaborate anymore. He’s basically reverted to a more YouTube-friendly version of his original format. Sit in front of a white wall, recap a movie, make some shitty jokes, and occasionally do a short sketch to throw your remaining actors a bone. It’s not bad, we’ll never get anything as embarrassing as The Wall again, but it’s clearly something he stopped caring about a long time ago.
