Interesting that you bring up Gaster as a Chimera because one of Gaster's biggest inspirations is Lord English, a Demiurge figure and even has lion/sun symbolism, is a Cherubim (wings like an angel), and is associated with serpents. The Demiurge's appearance is chimeric, and that's not even mentioning how LE is literally chimeric in how he's a fusion of multiple individuals (related: the "Gaster is a composite of Deltarune boss characters" theory).
