Okay this is interesting. Is there some kind of Japanese trope or stock character the localized Tenna is pulling from? Any weebs here able to weigh in?
I also read a post saying "glooby" in the Japanese more obviously means "gloomy" rather than just being a silly word, so I wonder if that contrast is part of the localization choices.
