Not really They still function the same way and most people aren't going to naturally abuse something blatant like mass loading/converting repeatedly, at best they'll do that in preparation for the Paltinum/Legend Tamer battles which are fucking bullshit and need more than max stats. Also the farm goods are still used for getting equipment too, don't forget.
