How did our ancient European ancestors see Jews (or Judeans as they were called before the word Jew was introduced into the English language as a substitute for Judean) and did they hold them in contempt as our kind has in recent history up until the post WW2 period?
Did the Romans and Greeks look at them and their religion with any kind of disgust?
What would the political implications be if the knowledge of what our ancestors wrote about Jews suddenly was brought to the mainstream and Europeans realize that these people have been acting this way throughout time?
Inb4 CI-tards start saying our ancestors wuz da real israelites

It's pretty good just as a show. If you have strong negative reactions to people who truly believe in a supernatural religion expressing and affirm that belief without irony or reservation, there are moments that will rub you wrong. It's not impossible to suspend disbelief, so to speak, and view the show as you would any other show with supernatural elements, but pretty much everyone from the stem to stern on this production is an avowed Christian, and the fact that it's a persuasion piece as much as it is just straight art can linger in the back of the mind. I like the show. Especially the parts where the Romans are cruel towards the Jews.
