The Traditional Chinese FF14 version is based in Taiwan, but they are going to use Google servers located in Singapore because Square Enix requires the highest level of machinery and it is not available locally in Taiwan, only Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. Despite being 15% more expensive to use, they chose Singapore's data centers because it offered lower ping to Taiwan than the other choices.
