It's fine the bigger problem is also why it sold so well, it was a known brand name attached to an extremely trendy action RPG with heavy reliance on open world quest design.
DAI was a lie to old fans with its lack of C&C, abandonment of core CRPG gameplay(though that really happened in DA2) and it's departure from the previous world building and main story.
If it were by a new ip name old fans would call it 5-6/10 nu-bioware action slop.
