What if I told you it wasn't just some Korean woman at all but Peter Sohn who's worked at Pixar since the 2000s, he's also done VA work for minor Pixar characters too and even had his likeness inspire the look of some characters like Russel from Up. My point was that Pixar specifically, even with people like Pete Doctor around for some reason decided that personal films were a good idea and not just writers/directors sneaking in their trauma dumping and inserting themselves too hard despite this being the trend in other media.
As for some of the movies you listed, in I don't believe CoCo itself was based on the director or writer's life specifically(Lee Unkrich/co-Director Adrian Molina). If i remember right the likeness of the grandmother was based on an actual elderly Mexican woman while they were in Mexico taking references for the movie, its really not any personal movie like some of these more recent entries.

I thought it was always military school. An anon leaked the artbook pdf meant for for the 2024 release of the movie and the military school had some concept art.
