No dogs in the national forest? You must not be American. Even at Crater Lake I am pretty sure you can have them on leash. Considering I take mine all the time hu ting grouse and quail and haven't ever had a problem with the forest jannies. Picrel, my dog in the siskiyou national forest.

Thanks anon. Sounds pretty sweet. The lady I got my dog from used to train her setters for field and show and she gave me about the same advice. Only differenceis I can-t make him sit because he needs to point. He's super smart and picks things up the first or second time but has a little bit of the adhd. What kind of dogs did she train?
