It's funny how TamSoft just drops Battle Arena after 4 and moves onto their next project, which was Penny Racers. It is such a weird thing because Battle Arena really was a runaway success globally for a budget ware developer. It didn't last long. But Takara still made quite a few Battle Arena games. A lot of that success came from it being the first 3D fighter on the PS1. It was used as a tech demonstration. 3D fighters were still rare on home consoles too.
