Not entirely true. The most she does is pepper her subjects with questions and basic information about themselves. Ultimately, she leaves it up to the subject to decide whether they should engage with her bad-faith rhetoric or not. If the subject finds themselves agreeing with what she says about the individual, they Distort. If the subject refuses to engage with the cognitive distortions that Carmen presents as a part of their "true self", they manifest EGO. This is what Carmen is ultimately seeking out to do

that's unironically true though. the only reason Carmen is so hesitant to react to EGO users is because wielding EGO is a process that takes time and effort to fully reach its potential. In comparison, Distortion requires very little from the subject's agency and capability, immediately allowing them to become raging homicidal maniacs fueled by tard strength.

tl;dr If manifesting EGO were as simple as distorting, then maybe Carmen would be more receptive to it
