I like building fun teams too which is why I'm excited for the UI change, as it seems it will make it easier to organize my stuff.

Leisault is who I have been building teams around recently, and I really like how many teams I can make with him, and now that we have 7 sinner teams again, it's a lot more flexible as well. The core so far is just Capo Meur, any Paus, and Detective Hongers, because it feels good to have a turn of entangled reverb scorch. Burn is easy enough to control so it's all about the tremor which has taken me back to Yuro Ryoshu because dropping 6 tremor count on someone is pretty nice, and Rose Rodya bursting tremor while always being neutral and bringing a good ego (clam) and great sins for the team (pride, gloom, and envy) is pretty nice.

I’m a big GF fan, but I’m not keen on 2 either.
A lot of the appeal of the first title was the overmap and strategic aspects, deploying hordes of dolls in cohesive groups, and the overarching narrative.
2 has smaller squads, less politics, need to roll for too much shit compared to gf1 where you only really cared about costumes. You bum around shooting at mutated animals and HnK tier wasteland thugs instead of ELID Zombies or Sangvis or Paradeus.
It’s a gorgeous game, and I really want to love it, but it hasn’t grabbed me.
