I still dislike HoMM V, but I loved Etherlords 1 and 2.
Same devs so they kept many things between those series.
I think the over-world map experience is simply quite bad in HoMM V.
Camera is too close, environments look quite bad.
They kept HoMM3 battle system for the most part but it wasn't that good to begin with.
At least town art was nice.
