How "meta slave" do you have to be to enjoy the game? Like in a hunting group in wilds, is it considered soft throwing if you aren't using the most optimum weapon / element combo for a given monster? I wouldn't do something weird like use a lightning weapon against rey dau but I do want the freedom to use what I feel comfortable with / like. Like what is the general expectation of meta slaving amount?
