I'm always happy to shit on Metroid Prime because it just feels bad to play and I never understood the fascination with it considering how much higher quality the 2D games are.

I still truly believe people fellate the fuck out of Metroid Prime because they only ever played Nintendo games and it was their first experience of anything close to FPS. Just a fucking ongoing gag and people have been fucking with me for years by saying it was good.

It's funny how cool they try to make Van look and then completely undermine it at the end of not only Daybreak 1, but Daybreak 2 as well. Yeah dude we get it, we already dealt with a guy who's unsure of himself, has constant doubts, is afraid to hurt the people he loves, and has a super strong demonic power that he's worried he'll lose control of with Rean. Van is such a fucking moron, I'm glad he got bitched out by Agnes.

That said, I'm glad Van's getting a better outfit in Kai/Horizon. His stupid fucking pants and overly long coat look really bad on him. And his stun rod is lame too. I still like him for generally being a cool protagonist, but Falcom made him retarded to piss me off especially.
