collars are dumb in general. I knew a dog whos neck got snapped by a collar or to be precise, by the jolt of the leash his owner was holding.
give him a harness and leave his neck alone. Especially when its an untrained dog who tries to jump other dogs, cars or wild animals.

I have a small mix, jack Russell terrier or something. goes batshit insane when he sees a rabbit. I imagine if this was a big dog and it would gor for humans like that I'd be worried.
