The War of Northern Aggression was largely about Federal over-reach and taxes on Southern states. South Carolina was the first to leave the Union and it was the RIGHT to leave the Union whenever they wanted. (((Lincoln))) decided states were nothing more than subjects of the Federal government. The American republic ended with this war and the American Empire began. As a Neo-Confederate, I welcome the destruction of the criminal American Empire.
