God said seek the truth. Not find it. Some denominations are closer to the truth than others but they all are convinced they got it right. Once you think you've nailed it you are in the most danger.

I follow Christ and test even the scriptures against him because it is not outside of God's character to permit lies into the Bible. He constantly tells us he is going to test us and does so all the time in all ways. And he specifically says, "The gate is narrow, and few find it."
Christianity has been the dominant religion is every area it's permitted to grow naturally basically since it's inception.
Not only that, but Thanks to Paul "Christianity" is comprised of 800 different divisions. All arguing about what Paul meant and how to reconcile it with what Christ taught.
That doesn't sound like a very narrow gate to me.
So I can believe Christianity and therefore Paul and trust what he tells me about Christ and his message.
Or I can trust Christ when he says, "Beware the line of Herod, beware the leaven of the pharisee's and if they come to you saying they saw me in the wilderness do not believe them."
More important I can trust the literal billions of christians of all denim nations who essentially agree that their collective way will get you into heaven regardless of the exact denomination you choose.
Or I can trust that this hard to find gate will be hidden. And you can only find it if you love the truth enough to really dig when things don't match up.
