After a great deal of fucking around, I eventually got my generator working properly. This image is the best I made so far, it's not great but it's at least above the base quality floor. As it turns out, it was the models that were causing my problems. Based68 is fucked and I can't tell what's wrong with it. The model is fantastic when it comes to prompting specific artists, but the images keep coming out wrong. My issues with Illustrious were caused by using an old model that was apparently bad, after downloading 2.0 things started lining up correctly.
An old Anything 4.5 model I found laying around is actually pretty good and works properly out of the box, no questions asked and the gen speed is great.
Illustrious 2 takes longer, but puts out more detailed results, even if not necessarily better in all regards. certainly more versatile though.

Now someone tell me how to get rid of these double gens:

It keeps popping them out and I can't do anything with them.
I tried putting more emphasis on the 1girl tag and it did not help.

I have one workflow where I make large batches of 512 x 512 and then another tab where I pick out the best one and put it through an upscaler into 1024 x 1024 before doing an img 2 img with the same prompt and model. Is that what a highres fix means?
