So when was it "chosen" to be the next Remake you think if the Remaster only came out in 2019? You think a handful of a million sales in 2 years for a modern port is enough of a calculated risk to greenlight a full scale AAA remake of this game that never performed as well as its contemporaries did? I just don't buy that, mate. Until it's announced, it simply does not exist or indeed has been long cancelled. Remember, FFVII Remake was announced 5 years before it came out.
