It’s really just a fireworks launcher. They have 37mm flash bangs and smoke canisters you can fire without being registered as a destructive device. Apparently the ML37 is literally just the ML40 without rifling, so if you ever wanted to convert it to a DD, it would be relatively easy to rifle and bore out to 40mm
