Well, I reached Mordred. I was whooping his ass too and most levels before this because of this crazy pyrostatic curse feedback loop. Right as I got him down to no reincarnations left he teleported within a few tiles of me so I thought:
>hm, he can do a lot of damage, I'll use a golden stopwatch to be safe
then he killed me
that's the second time I've died the turn after using what seems like the rarest "I win" item in the game. Kind of a bummer desu. I might've won if I just attacked instead and killed him since I had quick cast on my fire spells anyway.
Straight from max health too, so my health potions were worthless.
Notes to self, focus on getting over 200 max hp next run, or get some kind of spell that provides SH.
