I can relate. Our little girl Peanut was only 6 or 7 years old when we had to have her put to sleep due to inoperable, acute cancer in her sinus cavity. (she was estimated to be that old when we got her from a friend, and only had her for a few months, but she brought us lots of joy in that time)
