This is due to sprawl. The world isn't just getting hotter, it's ALSO getting colder. When you kill all the plants that moderate local climate that's what happens. Days and summers are hotter, nights and winters are colder. Where I'm from when we were kids we used to pray for a white christmas because we'd typically get slush and it took like 3 snows for the ground to freeze, now winter has taken over half the year and the ground freezes in October with the first snowfall, often before.

Yeah that's what happens when you cut down all the trees, stupid. Maybe you boomer fucks should stop doing that. Trees moderate soil moisture. They lessen floods AND droughts and raise river levels. Every river in america has dropped to about 1/2 to 1/4 its normal height because of how much forest has been removed. Put a dish sponge on an tipped dustpan and poor water into it. What happens? Now remove the sponge. Whoops, now you have water all over the floor.
