It's funny in a meta sense. Consider what Paramount has done to try and get the Skydance merger through:

>Cancel Colbert for 'financial' reasons
Then Trey Parker & Matt Stone give Trump the Saddam treatment. Possibly dooming the entire merger, rendering it all for naught. Oh yeah, and they just signed a deal paying them $1.5 billion for streaming rights.
Not to mention, if they keep this tone for the rest of the season, they'll be needling the President weekly. The seethe will be funny in and of itself.
