I tried that... it looks too much like paint without the luminosity blocking the clear lines. Besides that, it's meant to be clearly inhuman. Inspiration was The Void from the Thunderbolts movie. Shitty movie, but his scenes were cool as fuck. And his look just isn't possible from the testing I've done. Maybe someone else could make it work.
