I know, keep Luminosity at 90 or above and reduced the brightness in the color chooser itself. You'll want to find the sweet spot where its bleeds enough to still hide details but not wash out 2/3rds of your face. Just remember the base hues have differing brightness's to account for.

Use a voucher for the character creator and manually shut the eyelids, then find whatever makeup works the best to look like the pinhole eyes.

It's been proven that "fixing" your game garners a lot of good will. No Mans Sky, Cyberpunk, etc. Of course, they lied to begin with and never delivered on a lot of their promises. You can take what you will from that, regardless, these games gained a huge amount of support after "fixing" their games. Not only that, but a HUGE HUGE bump in sales. To the point where months or even over a year or two later, the games were still occasionally topping charts. Both of their DLCs also hit some pretty insane record numbers too.

So -- why won't Capcom? It's obviously a good marketing decision.

The only conclusion I can come to is that they simply can't. They either don't know how to, or RE Engine is simple incapable of making the fixes people want.

The mainline monhun team is just ass at programming. World was also fucking awful. They eventually fixed some of its problems but a lot of it relied on having better hardware to brute force good performance out of it. Even still it's not great and just like Wilds you should be getting like 2-3x the amount of performance you're getting on any given setup, even though you can max World with a solid framerate on hardware that shits itself if you try playing Wilds.
