For an actually properly active band here's Grinding Eyes from Sydney, gazey psych rock. Probably my favourite live band in Syd, they play louder than anyone else does at the moment. I try and catch every show. They released an album earlier this year its its breddy gud, they did the show for the promo tour at the fucking Trocadero Room which is the worst imaginable venue for their sound but whatever.
