i think i need to stop seeking validation and advice from people that will never like my art on a stylistic scale because it isn't cute enough
if people don't like what you're going for, they can probably never give honest judgements, i think, no matter how unbiased they think of themselves as. just as i probably can't give honest judgements on specific western cartoon styles.
