I want to build a dividing wall in my basement, to make the boiler room a bit more comfy. I want to use plywood on a frame with acoustic panels on top.
The wall should not reach the ceiling to leave room for the piping. That means I can only fix it to the wall on one side, and to the floor. The floor has stone tiles and I probably want to leave a small gap between floor and wall. How should I do that?
