I really wanted to give making bio diesel a crack but every single drop of waste oil around here is scooped up by commercial operators doing it professionally.

Short of starting my own business that has waste oil as a by-product you just can't get your hands on enough of it. Thankfully we've solar aplenty and the sun to go with it.
