He hung around this hippie lady for a long time and she would drive him around and they were claiming they could feel when the next cell tower was coming up. I was trying to tell him that there are so many cell towers that you could do that pretty much everywhere. There was some story he was telling that they were walking around some town in rubber suits like lunatics and people were staring at them. When he was at the barn he said there was a family of skunks living underneath the floor. The barn had schizo ramblings scribbled all over the wall and I regret not taking pictures. He would fight with the lady all the time she got tired of his shit. She was always trying to help him but he's difficult every step of the way. Eventually she had to call the cops to remove him and they had him committed for like a week. He had a panic attack, just like Chuck in the hospital with all the equipment and all the wifi and he claimed that they were going to kill him if he stayed there any longer. One of my other old friends was kind enough to pick him up and bring him back to our town. He took him to several different hotels but he would always flip out about the wifi like "I can't stay here, the wifi is getting me." Then even at the old holiday inn he paid for a room and looked out the window and there was a cell tower on top of the building and he left in the middle of the night. My friend picked him up again and took him back to his place where he eventually found the acreage and the shed in MO. A few days later my buddy took him out there for him to make the deal. I think he has been out there for a little over a year now.
