Yes, it's their creation myth, a religion, that is why they are so mad when you attack their creation myth model, which is the globe universe itself. I find it quite fascinating that people become religious zealots for a CGI universe and they never even questioned this concept.
People think we are on a spinning ball, spinning in various different intensities, simultaneously revolving around the sun and corkscrewing with a the disk universe into another direction which is also revolving around a galaxy core. 4 constantly changing directions, but what we feel and see in reality is calm even water and no rotation at all. It's fascinating, this is religion in full display. This globe univese is soo dumb, but people are incapable to see how dumb it is, it is the foundation of everything in this modern world system so they can't question it, they are not interested in truth and reality.
