I wouldn't say I dislike it, it just doesn't look like a Pokémon to someone like me that grew up with older Pokémon. I already wasn't a huge fan of Riolu when I originally learned about it, but Charcadet just looks like it was originally meant to be one of those Gogos characters that they gave a little more detail so that it would look more like a Pokémon.
