My advice would tlbe to have a dedicated display place for your toys, a spot with a specific function and separation makes the most sense (i.e. a book case with separated cells, and endtable not connected to functional furniture like a dining room table, somewhere where the figs on display have a purpose and not a kitchen counter or the like).
When you have your display area selected, tastefully build a scene or display. Take time placing and posing your figures, that can be the most fun part of owning them! Use your imagination and personal taste to set the scene and tone of your display.
Limit your figures only to that display. Once it is filled (tastefully, not jam packed with figs in static poses), place the rest of your items in a designated storage spot. Mine is a walk-in closet with a large plastic dresser and shelving. When you grow tired of your current display, put your figures back where they belong in the storage area, and select new ones to display. While you are putting your toys away in their specific drawers, you'll probably come across a figure that you live and haven't handled in a while, so build a scene around them! I hope this advice helps.
