I thoroughly enjoy sea power, it tickles my brain in a way nothing else does at the moment. But after a while of playing it, you realize it's very very formulaic with some of the scenarios
>Get recon up
>Send up EW if you have them and jam everything you can
>Ask every contact on map for identification
>VID every contact that doesn't respond or refuses
>Kill them
>Win
That's 90% of scenarios in a nut shell
ASW is some of the more intriguing scenarios I think.
Also designing scenarios is a lot of fun, made a campaign with the Arleigh Burke mod that involves a US carrier group fighting off the coast of Okinawa, the Philippines, and Taiwan. Might go back to it to keep adding missions when I get the motivation to.
Any suggestions for stand-alone scenarios?
